The girls room once a drab, bare bones room with moldy carpeting and virtually no color or personality (above) to a colorful, playful and exciting room with beds for each of the girls (right)

The boys are now able to sleep in their own bed. They also received a new Playstation 2 with about 50 games. We livened their rooms up with some color (green and rich brown with a bright blue floor rug). The moldy carpeting was also pulled from their room.

In the previous dining room they had a table only large enough to seat 4 people. The Ravenells are very family oriented and love to spend time with one another. We thought it important to give them a table large enough to seat all 8. A table was hand made for them and the dining room was decorated with photos of the kids and inspiring quotes.

The family before seemed pretty lifeless. The family would typically end up in Mom's room on the bed to watch tv because it was the only place that fit everyone. We gave them a beautiful new entertainment center, a sleeper sofa (so Whitley had a place to sleep when she came home), new chair, lighting and about 30 new DVDs. The family room is now a comfy, cozy place where the entire family can gather to watch movies, play games, or just hang out.

The entire family expressed an interest in music so we made them a music room complete with a keyboard, drum set, electric guitar, karaoke machine and miscellaneous instruments the entire family can play. So far every visit I've made to the house since the makeover, there is someone in the music room jamming!

The kitchen photos don't give the work we did any justice. Cabinets were scrubbed and literally changed colors. We brought life and color into the kitchen as well. They once had about 4 plates and a few pieces of silverware, and we all remember the photo of the fridge with it's vast emptiness. They now have place settings for all 8 of them - plates in every color and enough silverware for the Ravenell army! And the food .... the freezers and cabinets were filled to the brim with food. The kitchen now is a place for love and comfort and lot's of yummy food to boot!
