The Space Between the Work
Its not all work, we did a
lot of playing - between the many walks, the golf cart tours, sitting on
a path in the dark watching a full moon rise over the marsh to the sound
of frogs, making great dinner and laughter among the dinner table,
talking around a roaring fire, watching the white birds at sunset,
drinking our cosmos, discovering the bald eagle, hearing Carolyn yell
"Oh God, Oh God" as we went through the mud, being stalked by an
alligator and watching a turkey try to outrun us ... the list goes on
but one thing is for sure - life is good when you come together for
peace. |

Dinner with friends |

Definately some good food! |

 Spending some time clearing
trails so we can mountain bike easier! |

Cosmo cart ... yes, martinis and one last sunset drive
before we head home |

"I'm now sitting inside your newly constructed teepee, our symbol of
peace from our hearts and homes to you. Our vision was to provide you a
place to sit, be quiet, meditate, pray and find solace in a place built
purely from love. It has inspired us to build more and have them on the
beautiful land that surrounds Isabelle's House so that we might continue
the vision and feeling of peace.
May you
find yourself as you sit inside the Peace Hut"

The Journal
We each took turns sitting
inside our Peace Hut to write in a journal our personal thoughts about
peace, and this project. The journal will be sent with our project to
our intended group with the hope they will continue writing in the
journal and someday send it back to share with us their thoughts. |

"We hope you find peace in this quiet tranquil teepee and hear the inner
you in this safe place. Bring others so they my also experience the
beauty within.
This has been a peaceful
tranquil weekend in making/participating in this project with some
amazing people. Shine on!
Be Peace
Carolyn |
 "What a beautiful
experience to come together to share and create with one theme - peace!
We hope you enjoy this space as much as we did creating it. It comes to
you full of positive energy, thoughtfulness and happiness."
Peace be with you,
Marcye |
"Step lightly on the
earth for she is our mother."
Donna |

"Dear Source, Masters, Teachers, Angels, Guides ... please place the
energy here .. of love, wisdom, healing, light, and peace."
Miriam |

" Peace, friendship, love, acceptance amongst the beauty of the low
country in coastal SC. this is where we built this teepee. Let it be a
quiet place, a refuge where you can always go to contemplate world
peace, wherever you are. It all starts within. Let the peace inside you
shine, and spread to others. Know that this art project was created not
just as a piece of art, but also to shelter you, and provide a safe
place to retreat when you need to find a sense of peace within
yourself."
Michele |
"World peace starts with
a culture of peace - where the socialization of children begins locally.
We teach ourselves to be competitive and violent - we can teach the
power of connection, loving, and reconciliation as well. It can happen
with intention - and I believe it must begin soon. Intercultural
cooperation is the key - I want to take those steps today - toward world
peace - beginning where I am."
Reba |

"Peace is what I feel, surrounded by the sound of nature amongst
friends. May the paths that you each walk take you safely to a special
place where you are at peace - I have found that peace - sitting in our
teepee - freedom, love, and good health."
Amanda |
|

" We are all one
may we expand our circle
of compassion even wider
May we open our hearts even wider
Look for what we have in common
Peace starts in our own heart, in our own home, in our own neighborhood,
in our own community, and continues to expand outward until we all
connect embracing the world in peace."
Rena |
 "woof, woof, wooooof,
