Project Goal

For someone living in a homeless shelter, life is sometimes a day by day struggle to survive, find your next meal, taking steps toward a better life, and much more that most of us may never understand.

For one day let's help the women who have found themselves in this struggle let go and laugh, mingle, have fun, and experience the independence that July 4th represents.

We all probably have fond memories of our childhoods where we had the 4th of July picnic complete with hot dogs, bbq chicken, watermelon, corn on the cob and all the other necessary ingredients that make it what it is. We are going to create that memory for these women and for the children at the shelter.

Join in, make your own 4th of July special by giving back to those who just need the company of some great people.

Volunteers Needed

I could always use a few more good people. You will need to commit to the entire day of the project. Please note what areas of interest you have or special talents you might have that will best serve this project. Read details of project to know what we will be taking on.
